Our journey began with a simple message on Hinge (surprise, surprise). After exchanging a few messages, on December 14th, 2023, we met for our first date at a local neighborhood bar in Austin called Lulu’s.

What started as a casual drink quickly turned into a deep realization that our lives were already beautifully intertwined. We laughed as we discovered we were practically neighbors, bonded over our shared obsession with our dogs, Presley & Kava (who are now the best siblings), and realized we both worked in tech (another surprise for ya). Perhaps most serendipitously, we found we shared a deep love for San Diego, a city that held pieces of our pasts and, unbeknownst to us then, would eventually host our future.

Over the next year and a half, we built a foundation of unwavering support and loyalty.

On May 10th, 2025, the city that lived in our stories became the setting for our most precious memory yet. Under the guise of a family trip, Kyle led me to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. With my entire family watching—the people who shaped me into who I am—Kyle asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. It was the biggest, most beautiful surprise of my life.

Now, we are returning to the shores of the San Diego Bay to say I do on Coronado Island on September 25th, 2026. We cannot wait to celebrate this new chapter with an evening of heartfelt speeches, incredible music, and a dance floor that never stays empty.

Our story started with a swipe, but it continues here, surrounded by the people and the ocean we love so much.
